Divine Tobechukwu Nwoye is a legal counsel admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, with the right to appear before all courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He handles the Nigerian element of matters related to Interpol and extradition — from assessment of the underlying domestic complaint to representation in the Nigerian proceedings behind it.

His practice covers criminal defence before the Nigerian courts and matters involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) — the agencies behind most Nigerian fraud and corruption complaints that result in Red Notices and diffusions. He also conducts fundamental rights litigation before the Nigerian courts and is an accredited agent of the Corporate Affairs Commission.

He holds an LL.B. from the University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom) and an LL.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Wales (United Kingdom), and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2022.
