WOMEN GET ARRESTED, TOO

Although most criminal defendants are men, there are many cases where a woman is arrested and is in need of a criminal defense attorney. It is frequently the woman�s first arrest, and she may be frightened, or intimidated, or concerned with the effect of the arrest on her family. Ms. Estlund has represented hundreds of female clients, including successful representation at trial of women charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon; trafficking in drugs; and domestic violence. She has also represented women who needed and received special consideration due to pregnancies at the time of arrest or incarceration.
